Welcome to Difference Makers. Please take some time to look through the website and check out the newsletter, which is sent out monthly. This website is student created and maintained. It is currently under significant construction and we hope to increase the completeness of this site overtime.

Difference Makers is a student operated and student run organization with support from some adult sponsors. The program is specifically targeted to the involvement of Middle School and High School students. We currently have one chapter at Takoma Park Middle School and work closely with Jr. Civitan International. We are in our infancy of development and are currently funded by some personal investment. We are a 501(3)c organization. We charge no fee for any service due to the fact that our entire staff is volunteer.

This organization is exclusively for charitable, service, and educational purposes, including for such purposes as leadership development for youth, organizing and implementing service projects for youth, enhancement of educational opportunities for youth, and making of donations to charitable organization.

We depend on grants and donations to continue our organization. All staff are volunteers therefore all donations go back into the hands of people who take the time to make the difference in the lives of other people.
